MIT China Development Initiative
麻省理工学院中国倡议
MIT China Development Initiative (MIT CDI) is MIT's premier organization for promoting China-US relations. Our events are focused on fostering international leadership in business, technology, and politics, as well as cross-cultural understanding through educational collaboration.
Every year we host the annual IMUSE (Initiating Mutual Understanding Through Student Exchange) conference over IAP, where we invite delegates from MIT, Harvard, and Wellesley, in addition to students from Peking and Tsinghua University, two of the most prestigious universities in China. During the weeklong conference, we take delegates to visit various parts of Boston and Cambridge, listen to panels from experts, and challenge delegates to develop solutions related to the conference theme. In the summer, we collaborate with Tsinghua to send delegates to China to complete the second part of IMUSE.
